Problem

The agency was on a fast timeline to complete a redesign project of over 50 websites for their client and needed someone to quickly jump in and manage content migration, administration and content QA in a proprietary CMS.

Process

The majority of content and data was either manually migrated or imported from existing sites so the challenge involved overseeing and cleaning data migrations while creating easy-to-admin content matrices for administering user facing pages.

Additionally, many sites had over 400 records of recipes with product linked functionality so we needed to develop a data structure system for setting up import-ready data that could reduce the manual process of content administration.

Working with the lead backend developer and content team, we developed a content structure that imported all recipes with required site functionality, saving tons of time.

My role was key in expediting the data migration and overseeing all content transfers on the frontend for a seamless transition from old to new.
